Does the world really need another blog about technology and branding? Actually, I couldn’t find any. Hence the creation of GigaBrand. As President of RiechesBaird, a B2B brand development firm, it’s my aim to share best practices, create debate and provide insights about the unique aspects of branding for technology companies.
I wanted to create a place where anyone interested in technology, strategy, marketing and branding could converse, learn, debate and share what it takes to build successful brands. I’ll present you with the good, bad and ugly in a quest to improve the way technology companies communicate.
As president of RiechesBaird, Ray Baird is known for creating extraordinary brands and strategies that transform business and improve financial value. Baird’s experience with leading companies through change and brand adoption has earned him a place in BtoB Magazine’s “Who’s Who in B-to-B.” He has been recognized for spearheading the firm’s growth into new areas, including a major restructuring of its business model that has set it apart from other agencies nationwide. He directs the RiechesBaird team of business-to-business strategists in the course of vision creation, strategic planning, brand creation and development and integrated marketing.
Currently Baird is also the leader of the firm’s Technology practice group. He has over 20 years of experience creating and developing such brands as Linksys, Epicor Software, Emulex, Newport Corporation, Veeco and FrontBridge.
He co-founded RiechesBaird in 1994 with partner Ryan Rieches, and together they have built the firm into an internationally recognized leader in business-to-business brand strategy. For the past seven years, the firm has been ranked among the top 25 business-to-business agencies in the United States, according to BtoB Magazine, with a client roster that includes Toyota Industrial Equipment, American Airlines, Sharp, Sony, Bosch, MonierLifetile and Pacific Life.
